1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting theleashlord.com or booking with us, you agree to follow these Terms of Use.

2. Booking & Cancellation

Bookings require a meet-and-greet evaluation and completed paperwork before service begins.

A 24-hour notice is mandatory to cancel or reschedule dog walks, check-ins, or sitting. Otherwise, a 50% booking fee applies.

Overnight/pet-sitting bookings require a non-refundable retainer of half the fee to confirm. Changing or cancelling after booking may forfeit this fee, depending on timing and availability.

3. Services & Fees

We offer dog walks, pet-sitting, and drop-in check-ins, tailored to each pet’s needs.

Late cancellations are subject to a 50% booking fee charge.

Additional charges may apply for entry delays, holiday service, last-minute visits, etc.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide clear access, keys or entry codes.

Share accurate information about your pet(s), property access, vet info, allergies, etc.

Ensure vaccinations and vet care are current.

5. Liability

The Leash Lord does not carry liability insurance but requires clients to sign The Leash Lord service agreement form. We follow best practices to keep pets safe. But you agree not to hold us responsible for pre-existing conditions or unforeseen accidents beyond reasonable control.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on theleashlord.com—text, images, branding—is owned by The Leash Lord. You’re welcome to browse, book, and share—but don’t copy or reuse without permission.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The version posted on the website (with the effective date) is always current. If major changes occur, we’ll notify clients via email.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be handled under local jurisdiction, with respect for fairness and clarity.
